Pamela Barefoot, founder of Blue Crab Bay Company.

One of the joys of location photography is meeting and photographing interesting people.  When Pam and her husband moved to the Eastern shore, she wanted to create a business that used material from Accomack county.  She started her spice company in her kitchen.  It now employs dozens of people, has an huge warehouse and a facility for creating all sorts of unusual spices and soaps.  I found out she knows Medford Taylor, a photographer friend of mine and is carrying his book "Saltwater Cowboys" in her store.  Amazon has it listed, but as out of stock.  Pam has signed copies in her store.
